Our Primary Trust Team is focused on providing outstanding educational opportunities for all and supporting the staff of Shireland Technology Primary School to deliver the best learning experiences that they can.
Principal Kirsty Grundy draws on over two decades of teaching and leadership experience across the Primary and Secondary phases. As Primary Education Lead for the Trust, she believes that harnessing technology for learning can enable, engage and enthuse students and raise school standards. She leads the Primary Trust team and together they make sure that the Technology Primary delivers the Trust’s high expectations of providing the best technology-enabled opportunities for staff and pupils.
Sir Mark Grundy
As CEO of Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, Sir Mark Grundy is passionate about ensuring that all pupils are given access to an exceptional education. Sir Mark was knighted in 2006 for his services to education and technology in the UK; his emphasis on excellence is something that he drives through all schools within the Trust to create exceptional outcomes for all.
Vice Principal Claire Keeler has enjoyed teaching Early Years & Primary phases in a range of settings across the authority. She has supported both pupils and staff through her leadership in schools and role as a Specialist Leader in Education for Early Years and phonics.
Claire believes in teaching and learning opportunities that challenge, inspire and adapt to meet the needs of all learners; innovations in technology are essential in facilitating these.
She is an advocate for Early Years education and strives to create the best possible provision for pupils from the very start of their journey.
As Primary Assessment and Mathematics Lead for the Trust, Jen Devaney is passionate about achieving the very best for all children. She is an NCETM Professional Development Lead and Specialist Leader of Education for Mathematics. Her expertise in assessment supports teachers to provide the best learning opportunities so that all learners can excel across the curriculum.
Andy Collins is the School Improvement Officer for the Trust and is focused on furthering the educational progress across schools. Working closely with all the schools within the Trust, he is able to support the development of the schools, heightening performance across all aspects within the institution.
