Throughout the region, Tuesday 16th April was an exciting time for those who had applied for a primary place, as well as for the schools who were eagerly awaiting the news of their next Reception pupils.
Here at Shireland Technology Primary we were no exception. This day also marked our first round of offers for our first cohort of Reception classes, alongside our first round of offers for our Year 1 classes. As a brand-new Free School it was up to us to process our applications and co-ordinate with the local authorities that our pupils reside in. After this year, our admissions will then revert to the usual Local Authority admissions process.
The deadline for replying to these first round of offers for Reception is Friday 10th May 2019.
We are giving any parents who wish to apply to us until 14th May 2019 to be considered in our second wave of offers. We would encourage any families who are uncertain about their first choice LA application to get in touch at 0121 565 8812 – we would be happy to talk you through your options with us at Shireland Technology Primary.
