Principal Kirsty Grundy draws on over two decades of teaching and leadership experience across the Primary and Secondary phases. As Primary Education Lead for the Trust, she believes that harnessing technology for learning can enable, engage and enthuse students and raise school standards. She leads the Primary Trust team and together they make sure that the Technology Primary delivers the Trust’s high expectations of providing the best technology-enabled opportunities for staff and pupils.
As CEO of Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, Sir Mark Grundy is passionate about ensuring that all pupils are given access to an exceptional education. Sir Mark was knighted in 2006 for his services to education and technology in the UK; his emphasis on excellence is something that he drives through all schools within the Trust to create exceptional outcomes for all.
Andy Collins is Associate Principal (Head of School) at Shireland Technology Primary and is focussed on day-to-day aspects of the Principal role. Mr Collins is also our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Designated Teacher for Look After Children (LAC)
Megan Hancox is Vice Principal at Shireland Technology Primary.
Josh Parkes is Assistant Principal at Shireland Technology Primary.
As Office Manager Karla deals with the day to day operations of the school and brings extensive knowledge to our school.
Before joining us, she worked at Shireland Collegiate Academy as the Exams Officer but has worked in the Education section for over 10 years dealing with Finance, HR and Health and Safety.
As Deputy Office Manager for Shireland Technology Primary, Sara brings a breadth of knowledge and managerial experience to our school.
Jahlica is our Safeguarding and Attendance Lead at STP. Jahlica was previously a Social Worker for Walsall council and brings to the school a wealth of safeguarding knowledge and expertise. Jahlica is passionate about ensuring the safety and welfare of all the children at STP.
As Deputy Primary Director for the Trust, Jen Devaney helps oversee the successful running of all the Primary school. She is passionate about achieving the very best for all children and is an NCETM Professional Development Lead and Specialist Leader of Education for Mathematics. Her expertise in assessment supports teachers to provide the best learning opportunities so that all learners can excel across the curriculum.
